I think that it is the best course that anyone can take to get introduced to computer science because of 1. the amazing professor David J Malan makes every lecture feel like a movie and 2. the well structured content of the course.

CS50 is Harvard University’s introduction to the intellectual enterprises of computer science and the art of programming.

CS50 is the largest course at both Harvard and Yale University and the largest Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) at edX with lectures being viewed by over a million people on the edX platform.

CS50x, Harvard University’s introduction to the intellectual enterprises of computer science and the art of programming for majors and non-majors alike, with or without prior programming experience. An entry-level course taught by David J. Malan, CS50x teaches students how to think algorithmically and solve problems efficiently. Topics include abstraction, algorithms, data structures, encapsulation, resource management, security, software engineering, and web development.
