Cum sa ne pregatim copiii pentru impactul cu viitorul

Below are some tips to start the year off right. Or rather, how to prepare our children for the impact of the future.

I’ll quickly go over them now. For those interested, I will host a separate webinar.

– we increase their tolerance for failure, pain, and friction. We build their grit.

– we increase their tolerance for uncertainty. We foster their entrepreneurial spirit. In the new AI world, where ALL fields of work will be affected, only those who are accustomed to rapid pivoting, to adaptation, will have an extra chance.

– we limit their unlimited time on social media and games. Children need to be taken out of the existing, toxic environment and gradually transitioned to the right environment.

– we help them create an identity, a purpose, a mission in the correct life. By no means “I am a gamer,” as I saw a kid with a t-shirt bearing this message the other day. What are the chances for that child?

– we surround them with a circle that lifts them up, not drags them down. We help them have quality peers around them. I know, it’s very hard…

– we ensure they get dopamine from small, periodic, random achievements. We all started from zero.

– we provide them with positive, optimistic video/text content from the greatest futurists, thinkers of the planet, to see the trends. Now, if you look at the media in Romania, you see what the majority of the population demands. Junk. I don’t think you want your child to grow up like the majority of the population, right?

– we teach them to learn. We build an identity in which they see themselves as individuals who will continuously, perpetually learn.

– we create a group of open-minded parent/grandparent adults who are willing to get involved and act as a shield around our children.

– we provide our children with access to hyper-inspirational people outside the family to enhance their quality.

– aerobic activities, not just screens.

– we use our innate ability to feel ashamed to increase their level of self-responsibility. Common sense. The formative years.

– children must understand all modern concepts of chemistry hacks: anti-fragility, neural plasticity, growth mindset, etc. This means we explain/demonstrate them. Books read, videos. We, as parents, must set an example for them.

– children must be ENTHUSIASTIC in the long run. They must be optimistic. Otherwise, if they are depressed, they won’t learn, they won’t want to evolve. This means positive identity change.

There are more, but I thought not to overwhelm you right from the beginning of the year. 🙂

At Association, through the educational platform and the various events we organize, we will follow this direction.

Why?

Because, honestly, we are a small minority in this country. Those who want more for their children. Those who strive.

We are less than 9% of all parents. 🙂

If you want, sign up for the webinar and meet online with the few passionate parents on this subject.

We will probably organize it next week, on Wednesday, around 7:30 PM, on Zoom. But I’ll get back with details
