I was blinded for most of my life to seeing socialist countries as more fair than the U.S., because of their supposed intent to spread the wealth. But lately I've opened my eyes, and seen that these countries, like Russia and China, only enslave the masses, without rights, to make money for the top few. The only fair countries are the social democracies, which are democratic and free enterprise, with regulated competition, and more social programs. And little debt. The U.S. is at the opposite pole from socialist- free enterprise with little regulation, not enough good social programs, and large debt, with big tax breaks and loopholes.

Well, well, well. PBS stands for "public"… something. No wonder you spouse a highly pro-government view. Obvious. Your take is very shallow and full of platitudes, that of course can only be applied in the US where people take too many things for granted and never question in any way, public education one example. It is funny that you rush to show private monopolies as an undesirable consequence of free market apparently without questioning the monopolistic essence and nature of everything government.

  3. Also, competition is insufficient, when the fitness function has nothing truly to do with the actual function of the institution.

  4. whether or not consumers benefit more from a market economic system or a mixed economic system.? Help

  5. Explain how the free market economy brought about the global spread of hyper-consumerism. Explain also its effects on the ff: the deteriorating state of our environment, socio-cultural values, political climate, and in the individual’s life satisfaction rate.

Pls answer my question for my hw tnx :<

  6. Imagine genuinely believing the government and economy are opposed to one another

  7. I recognise this guy from a feeble attempt of veganism video. My hope's aren't high for his explanation
